On-device search, with clear connectivity boundaries.
AI Gallery by Cooke Studio performs photo indexing and AI matching on your Android phone. Initial setup and translation model downloads for supported non-English queries may need internet access. Once prepared, you can search the accessible local photo library offline.
Get it on Google PlayPrepare first, then try searching offline
- Install the app online and complete initial setup and required model preparation.
- Grant photo access and let AI Gallery index your local library. Granting access to selected photos limits the searchable library.
- For a supported non-English query, prepare the translation model it needs first.
- After the required resources and index are ready, disconnect and try searching your local photos.
Preparation time depends on your library and device. Finishing resource downloads does not mean every photo has been indexed.
What happens locally, and what may use the network?

- The app uses Firebase for analytics and remote configuration.
- Crashes and feedback
- The app uses Bugly for crashes and feedback. You may choose to provide an email when submitting feedback.
- Purchases and updates
- Getting the app, updates and purchase options through Google Play requires the relevant online services.
On-device AI does not mean the entire app stays offline
On-device search describes where photo indexing and AI matching occur. It does not mean every app function is offline or that no diagnostic or usage data is processed. Consult the full privacy policy for the data scope.
Video search requires the relevant permission and setting. Coverage depends on indexing; this guide does not promise frame-by-frame recognition or detection of every scene.
Website analytics are separate from the Android app
After you consent, this website uses Google Analytics and cookies to measure page visits, traffic sources and Google Play button clicks. Decline or withdraw consent through “Analytics settings” in the footer. Cloudflare Web Analytics separately provides cookie-free website statistics.
The website setting controls website GA4. It does not control Firebase or Bugly in the Android app. A store-link click indicates an intent to visit Google Play, not a completed installation.
A few good questions
Can I use everything offline the first time I open the app?
That is not guaranteed. Initial setup and model preparation may require internet access, and the accessible photos need a local index. Once prepared, local photo search can work offline.
Does local search mean the app never connects to the internet?
No. Photo indexing and AI matching run locally. Setup, model preparation, Firebase analytics and remote configuration, and Bugly crashes and feedback have separate data-processing scopes. Read the full privacy policy.
Does declining website analytics disable analytics in the app?
No. The website choice controls website GA4 only. See the Android app privacy policy for its data processing.
